What this work actually involves...
One-to-one mentoring is a space to slow things down and look carefully at how your patterns are being shaped — not to push for change, but to understand what’s organising it.
Rather than starting with goals or behaviours, we begin by looking at how you experience yourself: what you take as evidence, how broadly conclusions are applied, and how certain ways of seeing have been carried forward over time. This allows us to work at the level where patterns form, rather than repeatedly adjusting their surface expressions.
There is a structure to the work — but it isn’t a rigid programme. Each person brings a unique way of organising experience, so the focus of our sessions emerges from what becomes visible as we work together. Sometimes this means strengthening qualities that are already present but fragile. At other times it involves revisiting experiences that shaped how you see yourself, or refining conclusions that no longer reflect the full picture.
Sessions are collaborative and precise. I won’t tell you what to think or do, and there’s no agenda to fix or improve you.
My role is to help you notice how your experience has been filtered and interpreted, so it can reorganise naturally when more of it comes into view.
The result isn’t that you become someone new, but that you relate to yourself differently. What once felt confusing or effortful begins to make sense. You become better oriented — moving through your life with greater clarity and choice, and with a felt sense of coherence and agency. Rather than pushing against yourself, things begin to flow in a way that feels aligned and workable.
In the heart of every leader lies a desire to achieve greatness. Yet, as success escalates, so does the risk of burnout and inconsistency. Is it possible to maintain consistent high performance without being trapped in a constant state of stress and exhaustion?
Introducing Ian's Coaching for Leaders.
Most leadership development focuses on skills, strategies, and behaviours. But sustainable high performance doesn't come from learning new techniques—it comes from reorganising the self-concept that drives your leadership.
Ian's workshops and speaking engagements introduce leaders to Self-Concept methodology: a precision approach that reorganises how your brain constructs your sense of self as a leader.
In a 90-minute keynote or immersive half-day workshop, leaders discover how to widen the lens, reorganise their evidence base, and transform limiting patterns at the structural level—not through willpower or positive thinking, but through methodology.
Structural Clarity: Leaders learn to identify when they're attending to a narrow scope and how to widen the lens to include all evidence—leading to better decisions and reduced stress.
Resilient Leaders: When leaders reorganise limiting self-concepts, resilience becomes structural. They weather challenges not through grit alone, but through accurate perception of their capabilities across all contexts.
Cultural Transformation: Teams follow the leader's example. When leaders demonstrate what it means to reorganise evidence rather than filter selectively, it builds trust, dedication, and collective growth throughout the organisation.
Sustainable Performance: Enhanced clarity about your actual capabilities (not filtered through limiting beliefs) allows you to lead with precision—knowing when to push, when to delegate, and when to rest. You stay ahead not through constant effort, but through accurate self-perception.
Long-Term Stability: As you reorganise limiting patterns and establish positive templates for leadership qualities, you create structural stability. Your leadership becomes consistent because it's based on reality, not on managing limiting beliefs.

Transforming Patters: Learn practical methodology for working with limiting qualities. Discover how to establish positive templates, reorganise counterexamples, and—when needed—heal original wounds that created structural limitations.
Structural Leadership: Understand how your self-concept as a leader determines your effectiveness. Learn to reorganise limiting patterns so your leadership becomes consistent, resilient, and based on reality rather than filtered perception.
Sustainable Growth: Be equipped with precision methodology to scale your business and navigate challenges. Growth becomes sustainable when it's built on accurate self-perception rather than managed through willpower alone.
Immerse yourself in this cutting-edge 6-week group coaching program.
Most personal development programmes teach you what to think or how to behave. But lasting change doesn't come from adding new strategies on top of old patterns—it comes from reorganising the structural foundation that generates those patterns.
As entrepreneurs and leaders, we are the architects of our own success. But we can only build as high as our self-concept allows. When you believe "I'm not good with money" or "I always struggle with delegation," you're not just having limiting thoughts—you're attending to narrow evidence while filtering out data that contradicts these patterns.
This program teaches you to become the architect of your own self-concept.
You'll learn the core fundamentals of Self-Concept methodology—not as theory, but as lived experience.
Over six weeks, you'll reorganise limiting patterns, establish positive templates, and widen the lens through which you see yourself and your capabilities.
The time for change is now. Join us and construct the self-concept that supports the life and business you've always wanted. Be the architect of:
Your Self-Concept Foundation: Learn how your brain organises your sense of self through selective attention to evidence. Discover why you've been stuck—and how to reorganise at the structural level.
Widening the Lens: Develop the skill of identifying when you're attending to narrow scope. Practise reorganising your evidence base to include ALL the data about who you are, not just the filtered subset that confirms limiting patterns.
Building Resonant Culture: Equip yourself and your team to create authentic, resonant company culture. When leaders reorganise their self-concepts, it cascades throughout the organisation—building trust, clarity, and collective capability.
Join us for this breakthrough coaching program. Let's design and build the life and business of your dreams!

“Ian really helped me get a much deeper understanding of not only how I approach work and interactions with colleagues, but also how they interact with me.
It's been very beneficial in understanding how to tackle workplace conflict as well as working cohesively as a team. I have also been able to take the information and apply it to my personal life which has been an added bonus.
Ian is helpful, friendly and always available for a chat..”

“I was introduced to Ian as I had a problem where I had an idea of my career goal but was unsure which path to take to achieve a suitable qualification. We spent some time together where we discussed my ambition after which Ian was able to lay out the different pathways available to me, the pros and cons of each pathway and where they all may lead.
I left that meeting feeling like I had a really good idea of how I would embark on my new career and full of confidence that I was making the right decision pursuing my dream of becoming a counsellor.
Since then I have completed my first course, am now halfway through my second and well on my way to qualifying. I found Ian to be a very friendly person with a great wealth of knowledge which really helped me to visualise the pathway to my goal.”
